What Kinds of Projects Increase Resilience?
Over the next several years, the Houston region will make significant investments in recovery, infrastructure, and regional planning at a scale that happens once in a generation. Collectively, more than $50 billion is expected to be spent on major projects that could improve Houston’s resilience in the next 15 years. This includes funding for Harvey recovery, flood mitigation projects, and water and sewer upgrades.
